Thoughts about robots

Imagine, if dinosaurs or dragons showed up again sometime. One of the immediate reactions would be, Oh god help us, would it threaten our self preservation as a species? A valid guess here would be, someone would take the initiative to eliminate this threat as quickly as possible.

Recently, I came across a Facebook video, of a man trying to help a fully automated food delivery robot that was stuck close to a pavement by the road. I was wondering when people are starving out there due to lack of business growth or job opportunities, aren’t robots threatening our self preservation as a species?

Has the human kindness or fear of expressing an opinion, turned to blindness?

If the claim is robotics create more jobs, at a later time, what’s the contingency plan during transition?

If there isn’t a viable plan in place, who pays for the collective damage or trauma caused during the transition? Is there Universal basic income to assist people during this transition? Shouldn’t there be a provision or shelter needs to accommodate this matter?

What’s the difference between robots or dragons threatening our existence?

A humble request for the readers to consider this matter as thoroughly and quickly as possible.
